About this course
This course, normally taken during year 11, is assessed by two exam papers
plus a practical task and report.
There are six modules: biology (B3, B4), chemistry (C3, C4) and Physics
(P3, P4). The exams are taken in January (B3, C3, P3) and Summer (B4,
C4, P4). The modules are organised into units as follows:
Unit 1 - modules B3, C3, P3: 1 hour paper, 33.33%
Unit 2 - modules B4, C4, P4: 1 hour paper, 33.33%
Unit 3 – Research Study, Data Task and Practical Skills, 33.33%
