How science works

On this page I'll describe the gcse science practicals, sometimes known as ISAs. This is a new page, so I'll be adding content soon. In the meantime, here is a link to a pdf file called How Science Works

Edexcel

Edexcel don't do marking schemes for their IAAs - it's up to the teachers to use their professional judegment. It's not uncommon for the most able students to get poor marks in the IAAs and the teachers are often at a loss to figure out why.

Here are some exam-style practice papers with marking schemes. I can't remember where I got them from!
